Social Network

I watched Social Network for the second time Last time it was still June this year.

I felt a lot of similar feeling this time. No matter Edwardo or Mark, how they struggle through all those problems and founded Facebook.

It all started from not fitting in the group.

The movie started by Erika breaking up with Mark, and he figured out Facemesh.com. this turns out to bring him bad reputation. The Facebook was the way he tried to get some of that back.

The InkYard was exactly with the same start. When I started it in June of 2025, I was suffering disrepute from bitches in my class, and the reason I insisted to found the InkYard was because I was raising this idea in CAS Meeting and got their rejection not because it was a bad idea but because it was me who said that.

I raised this idea to the school council and got admitted.

Having nobody in my class to collaborate with, I went straight to find someone not the most capable but the most passionate. I think the people in my class are just too arrogant and disrespectful to them. They think everybody outside our class is trash.

I was so passionate at that time that I couldn’t sleep when thinking about this project that changes how students print. But without having that issue of having no friends, I would never have thought about a way to get my reputation back.

Having nobody to talk to gives me the time to think on my own, about the problems that people suffer from every single day from what I learn, which to be honest, is a lot more deeper than most people in my school. Having learned about the systematic way to think about problems and reflect, I gain the insight and problem solving schema that hardly students come up with.

This makes me the leader of the InkYard, but that feeling of superiority and pride makes me a devil. I almost forgot that was a school project where the key is not to earn money but to serve students, I forgot that people work for me are people around me most of the day not the workers.
